By accessing or using TDEE-Calc.com you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Medical Disclaimer

The content on TDEE-Calc.com — including all calculator results, text, and guidance — is for informational and educational purposes only.

Not medical advice. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Consult a professional. Always seek advice from your physician or a qualified health provider before changing your diet, exercise routine, or health habits.
No doctor–patient relationship. Using this site does not create any professional relationship between you and Yes Media AS.
Individual variation. Calculations such as TDEE, BMR, and macronutrients are estimates based on standardised formulas (e.g. Mifflin-St Jeor, Katch-McArdle). Individual metabolism, health conditions, and body composition vary; results are approximations only.

2. Accuracy and Use of Tools

While we strive to provide accurate, evidence-based calculations:

As-is basis. The tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied.
Personal use. The site is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
Assumption of risk. Any reliance on information provided by TDEE-Calc.com is solely at your own risk. Yes Media AS is not liable for health issues, injuries, or lack of progress resulting from the use of our calculations.

2a. Your Data and Privacy

Without an account: All calculator inputs (age, weight, height, goals, etc.) are stored only in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to or stored on our servers.

With an account: When you create an account you explicitly consent to us storing the personal data you choose to provide — such as your body stats, goals, preferences, and check-in history — solely to deliver the logged-in service. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. We do not use your data for advertising or any purpose beyond providing the service to you.

3. No Guarantees of Accuracy

We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness, or suitability of any information or results on the site. All content is provided on an "as is" basis. Errors may occur and scientific guidelines change over time.

4. User Conduct

By using this site you agree not to:

Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data from the calculator without prior written permission from Yes Media AS.
Attempt to interfere with the proper working of the site or its security features.
Use the site for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design elements, and calculator logic on TDEE-Calc.com are the property of Yes Media AS and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Yes Media AS, its owners, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the site or reliance on any information provided. This includes, without limitation, injury, health complications, weight changes, or decisions based on TDEE estimates.

7. Third-Party Services and Advertisements

The site may display advertisements and links provided by third parties (including Google AdSense). We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, services, or websites.

8. Purchases and Refund Policy

Paid features on TDEE-Calc.com are processed by Paddle.com, our authorised Merchant of Record. By completing a purchase you agree to both these Terms and Paddle's own terms of service.

Refund eligibility

We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase, provided the subscription has not been meaningfully used. A refund will be granted where one or more of the following conditions are met:

Service not delivered. You were unable to access or activate the paid features due to a technical issue on our end, and the issue was not resolved within a reasonable time.
Significant misrepresentation. The service materially differs from what was described or advertised on TDEE-Calc.com at the time of purchase.
Service not meaningfully used. You have not actively engaged with the paid features included in your subscription.

What constitutes meaningful use: Accessing any subscription-based feature — such as full reports, dynamic projections, or logged check-ins — is considered meaningful use of the service and confirms that the service has been delivered as advertised. A refund will not be issued on that basis.

No claim on outcomes

All paid features are provided on an "as-is" basis with no guarantee of specific outcomes such as weight loss, muscle gain, or any other health result. We commit to applying the best available science at any given time to deliver accurate, evidence-based calculations — but individual results will vary and are outside our control.

How to request a refund

Requests that fall outside the criteria above are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Refund requests submitted after the 14-day window will not be accepted.

Email info@tdee-calc.com with your order ID, purchase date, and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your payment provider.
